Cobre no logra repuntar: Precio cae por octava sesión consecutiva hasta su menor nivel desde octubre
Con una caída de -1,11% cerró este martes el cobre en la Bolsa de Metales de Londres (LME), y sumó su octava baja consecutiva, ante las preocupaciones de los mercados sobre la economía de China, debido a los efectos que podría generar la expansión del coronavirus. El metal rojo se transó en US$2,59 la libra contado `grado A`, valor que se compara con los US$2,62 del lunes. Debido a lo anterior, el promedio mensual y anual retrocedió a US$2,77. Se trata del menor nivel desde el pasado 16 de octubre, cuando el metal rojo se transó en US$2,57 la libra. Bci Estudios indicó en un reporte que el «precio del cobre continúa a la baja, recogiendo una mayor aversión al riesgo global por el coronavirus».
El commodity se hudía en esta sesión a pesar de una recuperación que han anotado los mercados internacionales, luego de registrar un «lunes negro», producto de la infección que se ha propagado a otras partes del mundo.
