Chile venció por 1-0 a Bolivia, en su segundo partido de la Copa América. Ben Brereton: Fuerte, potente, inteligente y de sangre fría. Abrió la cuenta con un gol de buena factura, en su debut como titular. Tuvo un par más para aumentar la cuenta. Gran olfato. Por si fuera poco, ayudó mucho en la defensa. Sacrificio y actitud. Un acierto.
LA SINCERIDAD DE EDU VARGAS
El delantero de La Roja, Eduardo Vargas, se refirió al triunfo por 1-0 sobre Bolivia en el duelo válido por la segunda jornada de la Copa América en Brasil.
‘Turboman’ señaló que durante la primera mitad el ‘equipo de todos’ dominó el partido, pero en el segundo tiempo el equipo se dejó estar y pasó varios sustos.
Además, tuvo palabras para el autor del único tanto del encuentro, Ben Brereton, quien está jugando sus primeros partidos con la selección.
“Fue un partido muy intenso, dominamos el primer tiempo, el segundo nos dejamos estar. Supimos adaptarnos bien con Ben, nos entendimos bien el campo”, dijo.
Consultado por si La Roja lo pasó mal durante el segundo tiempo, el atacante manifestó que sí, pues se desordenaron.
“Sí, sufrimos. Creo que estábamos muy desordenados y casi nos cuesta el empate”, cerró.
