Venezuela recibirá insumos básicos desde China
Venezuela, con 42 personas infectadas por el coronavirus, tendrá un “puente aéreo permanente” con China a partir de la semana viene para recibir los insumos médicos necesarios que le permitan combatir el Covid-19, de acuerdo con lo que anunció este jueves la vicepresidenta ejecutiva, Delcy Rodríguez.
El puente aéreo se inaugurará “en el marco de cooperación entre los países y así se tendrá un suministro seguro para la pandemia”, dijo.
En tanto los venezolanos se las ingenian para cumplir con el uso de mascarillas obligatorio que ordenó el gobierno junto con la cuarentena para detener la propagación del virus en la nación que vive su tercer año de hiperinflación, con un sistema precario de salud y fallas constante en los servicios básicos como agua y electricidad.
La razón es sacar provecho de un negocio en un país donde el costo promedio de un tapabocas en farmacias oscila desde 100.000 a 420.000 bolívares, o el equivalente a entre 1,3 a 5,6 dólares. Además, no hay suficientes para cubrir la demanda local.
El pasado fin de semana, Maduro dijo que tenían 8 millones de tapabocas para distribuir en todo el país e instó a las familias a fabricar sus mascarillas “con creatividad”.
