Vallenar ya cuenta con un plan de desarrollo turístico

Instrumento de planificación que posibilitará organizar la oferta local y originar una alternativa sustentable a través de la cual se pueda ofrecer todas las bondades del territorio.

En la comuna de Caldera se realizó la ceremonia de entrega del Plan de Desarrollo Turístico (PLADETUR) a los municipios de la región de Atacama, actividad que contó con la presencia del gobernador regional, Miguel Vargas, y del director regional de Turismo, Alejandro Martín.

Sin duda, tener un instrumento de tal característica es muy relevante para la comuna de Vallenar, ya que es una gran oportunidad para potenciar la economía local, presentando posibilidades de organizar la oferta local y originar una alternativa sustentable a través de la cual se pueda ofrecer todas las bondades de la comuna.

En la oportunidad y en representación del municipio de Vallenar, se hizo presente Víctor Rodríguez, encargado del departamento de Cultura, Turismo e Identidad Local, quien manifestó que “el codiseño del PLADETUR, es nuestra carta de navegación para movernos y avanzar hacia el futuro de nuestra comuna y provincia. Este insumo contiene la proyección específica del turismo en Vallenar, detallada en sus ejes estratégicos y líneas de acción. Es fundamental, además, la creación del PLADETUR provincial, por la forma que tiene nuestro territorio y por el funcionamiento que tiene Vallenar de puente para Alto del Carmen, Freirina y Huasco”

La iniciativa fue financiada con recursos del Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Regional (FNDR) del Gobierno Regional de Atacama.

Se pone en valor la entrega de este instrumento de planificación para Vallenar, sobre todo por el trabajo previo de su elaboración, el cual tuvo como metodología la participación activa de los actores asociados a la temática del turismo, tanto a nivel público como privado.

Además, el enfoque que se le dio en su construcción toma como marco referencial la Agenda 2030 tal como en su momento lo señaló la primera autoridad comunal, Armando Flores Jiménez “este PLADETUR, tal como se concordó en reunión del Concejo Municipal, es un instrumento que toma como esencia el marco de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible, a fin de que todas las acciones que emprendamos potencien esta actividad, promoviendo el turismo de intereses especiales, y que en ningún caso genere una carga excesiva de turistas que puedan afectar nuestro maravilloso entorno”.

Con esto, Vallenar avanza hacia el desarrollo de un turismo sustentable y lleno de oportunidades que, si bien considera los atractivos de la comuna, también, proyecta un gran desafío de cómo incorporar, en un todo, al valle del Huasco.
