Un fallecido en volcamiento de vehículos en maniobra de remolque
Pasadas las 18:00 horas de ayer el personal de la empresa Concesionaria Valles del Desierto daba cuenta e informaba de un accidente vehicular, alertando a los servicios de emergencia de la ciudad de Copiapó, al constatar que a la altura del kilómetro 766 dela Ruta 5 Norte, sector empalme a Nantoco, se había producido el volcamiento de dos automóviles menores que venían enganchados entre sí, a raíz que uno de ellos habría sufrido un desperfecto y era remolcado por el otro.
La causa del volcamiento deberá ser determinada por la investigación que inicie personal de la SIAT de Carabineros que concurrieron al lugar conjuntamente con bomberos y personal del Samu Copiapó.
Al llegar al lugar bomberos debió trabajar arduamente para poder extraer desde el interior de uno de los móviles a una persona que había quedado atrapada y producto de sus lesiones se constató su fallecimiento por parte del personal del Samu. Carabineros debió controlar el paso de vehículos solo por una pista hasta que concluyeran las labores de rescate y posterior traslado del occiso hasta el SML de Copiapó según determinó el fiscal de turno que fue informado del hecho.
Hasta el cierre no existían mayores antecedentes sobre la identidad de la persona fallecida .
