Terremoto de 7,2 afectó a Haití
Un sismo de magnitud 7,2 sacudió Haití este sábado, según reportes del Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS, por sus siglas en inglés).
El foco sísmico estuvo localizado a 10 kilómetros de profundidad y el epicentro estuvo ubicado a 12 kilómetros al noreste de Saint-Louis du Sud, Haití.
Ha habido muertes y daños en Haití después del sismo, aseguró Protección Civil de Haití a CNN.
Una réplica de magnitud 5,2 ocurrió poco después, a 17 km al nornoroeste de Chantal, Haití, según el USGS. El Servicio Geológico de EE.UU. estima ahora “un gran número de víctimas” y un desastre generalizado en Haití tras el terremoto de magnitud 7,2.
