Una destacada participación le cupo a la delegación de tenimesistas atacameños, liderados por su instructor Juan Marín San Martín, que participaron en la Liga Paulista desarrollada en la ciudad de Agua de las Piedras en Sao Paulo Brasil.
Es así que obtuvieron medallas y trofeos en las categorías infantil, juvenil, Penecas y Preinfantil respectivamente
Una excelente noticia para el deporte de Atacama, que refleja la preparación que tienen dichos deportistas.
Finalmente señalar que en el torneo participaron alrededor de 350 deportistas.
