Subastarán obras de Picasso valoradas en 100 millones de dólares
El 23 de octubre próximo, serán subastadas 11 obras de Picasso, según anunció Sotheby’s. Las creaciones entrarán en subasta en Las Vegas y en total están valoradas en unos 100 millones de dólares que pertenecen al gigante de los casinos MGM Resorts.
El remate será en el lujoso y conocido Hotel Bellagio al mejor postor más grande que se haya hecho en la ciudad de los casinos.
También será una jornada emblemática, ya que será la primera vez que Sotheby’s festeje una de sus tradicionales subastas fuera de terreno neoyorquino.
Las piezas de Picasso incluyen óleos, obras en papel y cerámicas que datan de más de 50 años del reconocido pintor español. Algunas de esas obras ya se han podido ver en un restaurante con temática de Picasso en el Bellagio Hotel & Casino.
Destacan “Femme au béret rouge-orange” (Mujer con gorro rojo anaranjado), uno de los últimos retratos que pintó Picasso de su musa y madre de su hija Maya, Marie-Thérèse Walter, pintado en 1938 y que hoy esta evaluado entre 20 y 30 millones de la divisa norteamericana.
En el mismo rango de precio saldrá a la venta “Homme et Enfant” (Hombre y niño), mientras que “Buste d’homme” (Busto de hombre) estará entre US$ 10 y 15 millones, ambas pintadas en 1969, considerado uno de los años más productivos del artista.
