SLEP de Atacama logra acuerdo de trabajo en conjunto y firmó convenio de colaboración con la ACHS

Este avance, previamente, fue una necesidad detectada a través de encuestas a los directores de los distintos establecimientos educacionales y a través de las jornadas de vinculación territorial desarrollada por el Consejo Local de Educación Pública de Atacama.

Con el objetivo de definir y abordar en conjunto las temáticas, productos y servicios en materias de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, el Servicio Local de Educación Pública (SLEP) de Atacama firmó un convenio de colaboración con la Asociación Chilena de Seguridad (ACHS), cuya ejecución será válida para el año 2022.    

La actividad se desarrolló en el Casino Antay de Copiapó y contó con la presencia de funcionarios y funcionarias del SLEP de Atacama, por cierto, de la comunidad educativa del territorio y representantes de los gremios de la educación.

Pedro Lagos Arancibia, director ejecutivo (S) del SLEP de Atacama, argumentó que “hoy asumimos el compromiso de promover y concientizar a nuestro personal operativo para desarrollar en conjunto este acuerdo, que, por cierto, permitirá desarrollar la gestión de prevención de riesgos, especialmente la denominada gestión del riesgo para disminuir sus niveles, en razón de la mejora continua y los desafíos que representan los indicadores de accidentabilidad, siniestralidad y fatalidad”.

“Mejorar la educación de manera constante y permanente, de nuestros niños, niñas, adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos, es tarea de todos y todas. por consiguiente, desde el hogar, desde el aula, desde los establecimientos educacionales, por cierto, desde el Servicio Local de Educación Pública, debemos aportar con un granito de arena para esta noble labor. Este enunciado pone de manifiesto la firme convicción que existe entre ambas entidades, nuestro SLEP y la Asociación Chilena de Seguridad, de considerar la protección de las personas como un valor intransable para el cumplimiento de sus labores”, concluyó Lagos Arancibia.

Por su parte, Gineva Podestá Rivadeneira, Subgerente de Operaciones Regional, ACHS Atacama, afirmó que “el SLEP concentra la importancia que tiene la prevención de riesgos laborales en los procesos que desarrolla y teniendo presente la responsabilidad que debe asumir legalmente frente a los siniestros laborales ha determinado desarrollar un acuerdo de colaboración de trabajo contando con el apoyo y asesoría de la ACHS”.  

Cabe relevar que, según el convenio de colaboración, la Asociación Chilena de Seguridad compromete el aporte de una asesoría calificada y oportuna para la realización conjunta de las actividades que se enmarcan en el acuerdo de colaboración, manteniendo absoluta confidencialidad sobre la información proporcionada por SLEP de Atacama.

Para concluir, el presidente del Consejo Local de Educación Pública del SLEP de Atacama, Jorge Alcayaga, declaró que “debemos consignar que esta es una necesidad detectada a través de encuestas a los directores de los distintos establecimientos educacionales, pero también, a través de las jornadas de vinculación territorial del Consejo Local con los consejos escolares del territorio. Una vez manifestada la necesidad desde las bases territoriales, estas fueron presentadas al director ejecutivo solicitando efectivamente la implementación de un plan o programa de atención a este tema que es muy importante. Damos las gracias porque hubo una preocupación, sobre el factor humano que componen las escuelas, liceos y jardines V.T.F. Hoy a una acción que va en beneficio de las y los trabajadores del territorio”.
