Se reportan 877 casos y 44 decesos en el país: Pacientes covid-19 en ventilación mecánica llega a su menor registro en 7 meses
El Ministerio de Salud entregó un nuevo reporte sanitario por la situación de la pandemia por coronavirus en el país, donde se informaron 877 nuevos contagios por covid-19 en las últimas 24 horas.
De ellos, 541 corresponden a personas sintomáticas y 266 no presentan síntomas. Además, se registraron 70 test PCR positivos que no fueron notificados. «Trece regiones disminuyen sus casos nuevos, tanto en la última semana, como en los últimos 14 días», informó el ministro de Salud, Enrique Paris, agregando que la variación de nuevos casos confirmados a nivel nacional es -15% y -28% para la comparación de siete y 14 días, respectivamente. La autoridad destacó que todas las regiones registraron una positividad diaria igual o menor al 2%, una situación que se muestra también en la última semana. «La tasa de positividad de casos por PCR en las últimas 24 horas es 1,43% y el promedio de los últimos siete días es 1,5%. Las regiones, según toma de muestra, con mayor positividad promedio en la última semana son Los Ríos, Metropolitana, Maule y Valparaíso», detalló el ministro Paris.
