Se informan de 1.383 nuevos casos y 119 fallecidos en el país
El Ministerio de Salud informó que en las últimas 24 horas se confirmaron 1.383 contagios nuevos de coronavirus, mientras que se inscribieron 119 fallecidos asociados al Covid-19 en el país.
Del total de nuevas infecciones, 916 casos presentan síntomas, 381 casos son asintomáticos y 86 aún no se notifican.
En la última jornada se informaron 61.854 exámenes de PCR, con una positividad a nivel nacional de 1,97%, el indicador más bajo desde el inicio de la pandemia, mientras que en la Región Metropolitana llega a un 2 por ciento.
Con ello, 8.017 pacientes se encuentran en etapa activa, en tanto que los casos recuperados son 1.568.294.
Sumando estos nuevos registros, se llegó a 1.613.288 contagiados totales desde iniciada la pandemia, mientras la cifra total de fallecidos aumentó a 35.295.
En cuanto a la red hospitalaria, 1.516 personas están internadas en camas críticas a causa del Covid -1.226 con apoyo de ventilación mecánica invasiva-, dejando un total de 515 camas disponibles.
