Scolari puso plazo para responder oferta de Colo-Colo
Harold Mayne-Nicholls habló con la prensa tras su regreso al país junto a Aníbal Mosa y Marcelo Espina. El vicepresidente de Blanco y Negro reveló detalles de la reunión que sostuvieron con Luiz Felipe Scolari, el principal candidato para ser el nuevo DT de Colo Colo.
«Nos demostró su interés por venir y que había hecho un seguimiento a varios partidos del equipo. Tenía conocimiento del plantel y también mucha información interna del club, lo que evidentemente lo debe ayudar a tomar una decisión, y quedó de darnos una respuesta el domingo«, dijo Mayne-Nicholls.
«Por lo que nos dijo, a él le interesa muchísimo la Copa Libertadores, conoce mucho cómo jugarla», agregó el dirigente albo.
«(Scolari) Hizo un análisis bastante grande de partido contra Jorge Wilstermann, pero no podría saber si va a ser así o no. Nos encantaría, por supuesto que sí, pero depende de una serie de factores», contó.
En el caso que Scolari no acepte la propuesta, Mayne-Nicholls afirmó que «una vez que tengamos una respuesta veremos qué activamos o no activamos. Nuestro plan siempre fue traer a Scolari, logramos tener unas muy buenas reuniones con él», indicó.
