El guardameta llega al club que dirige Manuel Pellegrini proveniente del Granada, club donde estuvo cinco temporadas. Nació futbolísticamente en el Nacional de Madeira en Portugal. Ahora, con el Betis, firmó un contrato hasta 2026.
