El rally alcista del cobre continúa entregando números favorables para la economía chilena, ya que el metal rojo evidenció un leve incremento en su valor con una variación diaria de 0,27% respecto a la jornada del día lunes 15 de febrero.
De este modo, el commodity alcanzó ayer los US$ 3,828 la libra (US$ 8.439.50 la tonelada) en la Bolsa de Metales de Londres (LME) según lo detallado por la Comisión Chilena del Cobre (Cochilco).
Por otro lado, ante el crecimiento del valor del cobre el dólar vive una realidad contraria, ya que la moneda estadounidense aumentó su caída con un retroceso de $ 3,6 posicionándose en $ 715,74, acercándose cada vez más a la barrera de los $ 700.
