Presidenta del Sindicato de Supervisores de Minera Candelaria y Directora de Equidad de Género de Fesumin, Pamela Bordones, fue Premiada por su trayectoria en la Minería

Recientemente, se realizó la ceremonia de premiación, organizada por Women in Mining, que tiene por finalidad reconocer y premiar a las 100 mujeres más influyentes en la minería Chilena.

Es un reconocimiento en particular en minería, existiendo varias categorías como liderazgo, trayectoria, emprendimiento y futuras jóvenes en minería.
En la distinción fue reconocida la Presidenta del Sindicato de Supervisores de Minera Candelaria y Directora de Equidad de Género de Fesumin, Pamela Bordones Olivares, quien fue premiada en la categoría de trayectoria reconociendo los más de 15 años en minería y marcando también una línea de trabajo y un desempeño bien específico en las mujeres.

“En este caso como representante de las supervisoras en un sindicato de nivel superior, había ahí un trabajo en potenciarlas, estar pendientes del cumplimiento de sus derechos dentro de la compañía y enfatizando también la conciliación de la vida privada y la vida profesional”, subrayó la líder del gremio de los supervisores.
Sobre la importancia de esta premiación, Pamela Bordones comenta que “se realiza cada 2 años y en esta oportunidad la verdad fue muy emocionante y gratificante y te obliga también a tener un mayor compromiso dentro del Sindicato Base y también los Sindicatos que componen la Federación Fesumin”.

“Como mujer es un reconocimiento muy importante, es como una tarea cumplida, se observa, se valora y eso te alienta a seguir trabajando con el mismo afán. También es importante para las futuras generaciones, porque así como también nos veíamos hoy día nosotras premiadas, esperamos que existan más mujeres en minería y homenajeadas sin dudas marcando el camino y un sello de trabajo que es lo más importante”, finalizó.

La mesa de género de la Federación continúa trabajando con diferentes proyectos que involucran a las socias, supervisoras y trabajadoras de la minería. Se busca que las condiciones laborales de las mujeres sean las óptimas para que se puedan desarrollar de forma profesional y personal, desempeñando sus labores en el ámbito minero.
