Plebiscito, pandemia y recesión mundial: claves de la Cuenta Pública de Piñera
La Cuenta Pública Presidencial llegó en un tiempo marcado por la pandemia de covid-19, y a nueve meses del estallido social, hechos que han sido sucedidos por una crisis económica que ha azotado a Chile y el mundo; en ese sentido los principales focos del discurso se enfilaron, además, en la recesión económica mundial; el plan de recuperación del Gobierno frente a estas crisis; los acuerdos nacionales por la paz, por el plebiscito constituyente y por la justicia social; el narcotráfico; el cambio climático y el desarrollo de La Araucanía.
El mandatario destacó los planes del Gobierno en materia de niñez, equidad y violencia contra la mujer, migración, tercera edad y salud. También resaltó modernizaciones y reformas al Poder Judicial, Carabineros, Contraloría, el Consejo de Defensa del Estado, y en materia de energía.
De igual forma anunció que a partir de este sábado inicia el proceso para incorporar a Chile a la tecnología 5G, siendo “pioneros” en América Latina. Significará una inversión estimada de 3.000 millones de dólares en los próximos 5 años y permitirá multiplicar por 10 la velocidad de navegación y tendrá 100 veces más capacidad que las actuales redes 4G.
