Piñera llama a la unidad frente al coronavirus
El Presidente Sebastián Piñera ofreció su discurso de 21 de mayo, día donde se recuerdan las Glorias Navales y durante él aprovechó la ocasión para hizo un llamado a la unidad para enfrentar la crisis del coronavirus. “Quisiera, recordando al presidente Pinto, dar un mensaje de fe y esperanza a todos mis compatriotas y pedir la unidad y colaboración de todos los chilenos”.
Haciendo alusión a su mensaje el ministro de Salud, Jaime Mañalich, llamó a “abandonar posiciones sectarias” y pidió dejar “nuestras diferencias aparte y postergar discusiones que pueden ser postergadas, porque es el momento de ser astutos y ver la magnitud del enemigo que tenemos por delante, y no perdernos en pequeñeces (…) dejemos la pelea chica”.
