Peatón muere atropellado por camión en cercanías de Santa Gemita en Copiapó
Un peatón resultó fallecido, tras intentar cruzar la Ruta 5 Norte, por un sector no habilitado en las cercanías de Santa Gemita en Copiapó.
Al respecto, el Mayor Carlos Mesa Gallardo, de la 2ª Comisaría de Carabineros de Copiapó, al informar del hecho señaló “en la Ruta 5 Norte, a la altura del kilómetro 816, alrededor de las 5 de la mañana, en donde un vehículo mayor, un camión; mientras se desplazaba, de improviso cruza un peatón, falleciendo lamentablemente a consecuencia de la gravedad de sus lesiones”.
En el lugar se constituyó la SIAT de Carabineros, con el propósito de determinar efectivamente las circunstancias y determinar las causas basales del accidente.
La víctima fatal fue identificada como pedro Rivera Porcilo; y de acuerdo a lo informado por la Fiscal de Turno de Copiapó, Andrea Díaz Tapia, se ordenaron las indagaciones respectivas a fin de esclarecer el hecho.
