Paris: “nuevas cifras son esperanzadoras”
El ministro de Salud, Enrique Paris, aseguró que “continúa la leve mejoría” en la situación del Covid-19 en el país. Desde la ciudad de Arica, hasta donde viajó junto a Arturo Zúñiga, el secretario de Estado insistió en que “las cifras avalan esa tendencia”.
“La variación de casos confirmados a nivel nacional es de -16% en los últimos 7 días y es de -36% en los últimos 14 días. Es decir, son cifras esperanzadoras. Además, la tasa de positividad de la PCR para detectar el virus actualmente es de un 16%. Hemos bajado del 20% y está al nivel más bajo promedio de los últimos 7 días”, comentó Paris en el balance diario de la pandemia.
Pero el titular de Salud no escondió su preocupación por algunas regiones. “Y por eso mismo estamos acá. Nosotros no queremos tomar decisiones a 2.400 kilómetros de distancia, queremos tomar decisiones también en el lugar”, señaló.
Acotó el Ministro que “Nos preocupa también Antofagasta, nos preocupa Tarapacá y O’Higgins. En conjunto con Arica son las regiones que tienen alta incidencia de pacientes por 100 mil habitantes y, obviamente, que hemos venido justamente por esa razón a trabajar con la autoridad local y a ver la forma de implementar mejores medidas para el control de la pandemia”.
