Paris destaca “buena evolución” por positividad diaria de 18,47 %
La positividad diaria de este lunes fue la más baja de los últimos 49 días, tomando en cuenta la cantidad de muestras que se procesaron en el país; con 18,47 %, el ministro de Salud, Enrique Paris, consideró que es un indicador de una “evolución positiva”; al menos, tomando en cuenta el panorama nacional, puesto que en regiones la situación es otra.
En el balance oficial que ofreció este lunes dijo que “en los últimos siete días (la positividad) estaba en un 22 % en promedio [pero que] hoy (ayer) la cifra al 19 %, afortunadamente, gracias al esfuerzo de la población y los agentes sanitarios”. No obstante, el secretario de Estado pidió continuar con la estrategia de detectar, trazar y aislar, para evitar la diseminación del virus.
Aunque dijo que esta cifra “nos alienta a seguir en esa línea”, no es momento de tomar “ninguna medida que varíe las cuarentenas; esta decisión se toma en conjunto con el comité de expertos, liderada por el Presidente Sebastián Piñera”
El 18 de mayo fue la última vez que se reportó una positividad tan baja con 13,01 %, seguida por 5 de junio cuando fue de 20 %; no obstante, la recomendación de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y de los expertos del consejo asesor covid-19 es que sea menor al 10 % para iniciar medidas de desconfinamiento.
