Orestone Mining comienza a perforar en el proyecto Resguardo en la región de Atacama

Orestone Mining Corp. (TSXV: ORS) (FSE: O2R1) (WKN: A2DWW7) (la «Compañía») se complace en anunciar que un programa de perforación En el proyecto de pórfido / manto de cobre y oro Resguardo de la Compañía, que comenzó con el primer pozo de perforación cerca de la profundidad objetivo, anticipamos que el programa se completará a fin de mes. Resguardo está ubicado a 75 kilómetros al NE de la ciudad de Copiapó, III Región, norte de Chile. El acceso al proyecto es excelente a lo largo de la autopista 31, que sirve como la ruta principal hacia la mina La Coipa y el cinturón de oro del norte de Maricunga.                                                                                                                                                  El programa de perforación, que consta de un mínimo de 1200 metros de perforación de circulación inversa (RC) en tres agujeros, será la primera prueba de perforación de una fuerte anomalía de cargabilidad IP que tiene una longitud de ataque de 1400 metros, un ancho de 500-800 metros , y se encuentra a una profundidad de 150-200 metros. Los agujeros 1, 2 y 3 se perforarán a una profundidad planificada de 400 metros para un total de 1200 metros y la Compañía evaluará la perforación de agujeros adicionales para un programa de un total de 2000 metros (20 sitios de perforación han sido aprobados previamente para perforación).                                                                             

El orificio RE-20-001 se perforará en la parte más fuerte de la anomalía a lo largo de la línea de sección 4 de IP en un área cubierta de sobrecarga justo al oeste de una fuerte tendencia lineal NO. El hoyo RE-20-002 está ubicado en el extremo oeste del IP alto en la línea de sección 1 dentro de un área mapeada de alteración de sericita-sílice-arcilla y valores elevados de óxido de cobre en la superficie en una fuerte tendencia NW lineal.           

El hoyo RE-20-003 está ubicado dentro de un área mapeada de alteración sericita-sílice-arcilla y valores elevados de óxido de cobre en la superficie, justo al este de una fuerte tendencia NW lineal y al oeste de la línea de sección 2 (compensada con una histórica intersección de perforación de 22 metros de manto mineralización de estilo con 0,495 de cobre).                            

El hoyo RE-20-004 se encuentra entre las líneas de sección 1 y 5, justo al este de un área mapeada de alteración de sericita-sílice-arcilla y valores elevados de óxido de cobre en la superficie en una fuerte tendencia NW lineal justo al oeste de una intrusión de diorita mapeada.                                                                                

El agujero RE-20-005 está ubicado entre las líneas de sección 4 y 5 en un área cubierta de sobrecarga justo al norte de un cuerpo intrusivo de diorita mapeado.                                           

El objetivo de Resguardo IP está ubicado inmediatamente al oeste del afloramiento de mineralización de óxido de cobre con una clasificación de 1 a 7% de cobre y 0,50 g / t de oro que se extrajo históricamente en una serie de pozos y trabajos subterráneos. Aunque se cree que este muestreo histórico se llevó a cabo de manera competente, no fue certificado por un geólogo profesional, por lo tanto, los resultados no cumplen con NI 43-101 y no se puede confiar en ellos.                                                           

El proyecto Resguardo alberga mineralización de cobre y oro en cuerpos de mantos, skarns y brechas (trabajos históricos) acompañados de zonas de fuerte alteración hidrotérmica que consiste en sericita-sílice-arcilla con óxidos de cobre en la unión de las fallas extensionales regionales de bajo ángulo de tendencia NNE con tendencia NW fallas verticales en asociación con el gran objetivo de IP.  El programa de perforación está bajo el control de un geólogo profesional registrado y cumplirá con las normas y prácticas establecidas por la Asociación de Ingenieros y Geocientíficos de la Provincia de Columbia Británica «.                                               
Todos los contratistas y la Compañía están coordinando con Sernageomin, la agencia gubernamental que controla la minería y la exploración en Chile, para diseñar e implementar protocolos para garantizar la seguridad y la salud, especialmente con respecto a Covid-19, para todo el personal de la Compañía y los contratistas involucrados en El programa de perforación.       

Gary Nordin, P.Geo, director de la Compañía, es una persona calificada según lo definido por el Instrumento Nacional 43-101, el Sr. Nordin ha revisado y aprobado la información técnica en este comunicado de prensa.                                                                      

El Resguardo en Chile, así como el proyecto Capitán de Orestone en BC, están ubicados en corredores estructurales adyacentes a grandes depósitos de cobre y oro. En Chile, el proyecto Resguardo de Orestone está ubicado en un corredor estructural de tendencia NNE a 80 kilómetros al sur de la mina El Salvador y el pasado productor de la mina Potrerillos, ambas grandes pórfidos de cobre y oro.  (Fte: Redimin.cl)
