OMS ve «datos potencialmente positivos» en tratamientos para el covid-19
La Organización Mundial de la Salud dijo el martes que algunos tratamientos parecen estar limitando la gravedad y prolongación de la infección respiratoria del covid-19 y dijo que la agencia se está enfocando en tener más información sobre cuatro o cinco de las terapias más prometedoras.
“Tenemos algunos tratamientos parecen estar en estudios muy preliminares pero que limitan la severidad o la fase de la enfermedad, pero no tenemos nada que mate o detenga el virus”, dijo la portavoz Margaret Harris en una video conferencia, en referencia a los llamados “ensayos de solidaridad” de fármacos.
“Sí tenemos algunos datos potencialmente positivos que están surgiendo, pero necesitamos recibir más información y estar 100% seguros de que podemos usar un tratamiento en lugar de otro”.
