Ocupación de camas críticas sigue 300 % sobre los niveles prepandemia
El vicepresidente de la Sociedad Chilena de Medicina Intensiva (Sochimi) de Chile, Darwin Acuña, advirtió que, en relación a las camas críticas disponibles en el país, la Red Asistencial sigue tres veces por sobre lo que estaba antes de la pandemia, por lo que llamó a continuar con los esfuerzos en el combate del covid-19.
Sin embargo, el total de la ocupación de camas por coronavirus ha bajado las últimas semanas al punto de alcanzar un 14 %, por lo que este miércoles se registró un total de 7.033 pacientes en unidades básicas, media, de tratamiento intermedio y de cuidados intensivos. Si bien, la mayoría de los hospitalizados no presenta mayor complicación 1.821 de ellos están en UCI.
