Municipio de Copiapó y Gobierno Regional inician obras del nuevo jardín infantil “Pulgarcito” de Paipote

Este miércoles el alcalde de Copiapó Marcos López, junto al Gobernador regional de Atacama Miguel Vargas; acompañados de representantes de la comunidad y de la Fundación Integra, dieron el vamos a las obras de construcción del nuevo Jardín Infantil “Pulgarcito” de Paipote.

Anhelado proyecto educativo que se logró concretar gracias a un trabajo mancomunado entre el municipio y el Gobierno Regional de Atacama, a través del Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Regional (FNDR). 

Tras compartir con los vecinos y vecinas y explicar los alcances que tendrá el proyecto el acalde Marcos López, destacó. “tener éxito en un proyecto muy relevante para la comunidad y que se suma a otros nos pone muy contentos. Son casi 800 metros cuadrados de construcción, un diseño muy moderno, que fue realizado por el municipio y que, según lo planificado por la empresa a cargo de las obras, esperamos tenerlo a disposición de la comunidad en un año”.

“La iniciativa forma parte de los 8 proyectos en carpeta que tenemos y que van en la línea de mejoramiento de áreas verdes y de los cuales cinco ya se encuentran en ejecución y que en total suman, más de 7 mil millones de pesos de inversión solo para Paipote”, destacó la primera autoridad comunal.  

Por su parte el Gobernador regional Miguel Vargas, destacó “muy felices porque estamos iniciando un proyecto largamente anhelado; el alcalde lo mencionaba son 30 años de espera, y hoy quiero felicitar esta alianza virtuosa entre la municipalidad y la Fundación Integra, que permite que un proyecto como este se postule al financiamiento del Gobierno Regional de Atacama. Son más de 2 mil millones de inversión, entre las obras de infraestructura y equipamiento y creemos que aquí hay mucha motivación y muy buenas energías, porque es un proyecto largamente anhelado y es la forma de sacar adelante la inversión pública que se requiere aquí en la región”.

ALEGRIA DE VECINOS

Sin duda los más contentos con el inicio de esta nueva obra es la comunidad. En esta línea Giselle Olivares, presidenta de la Junta de Vecino “Nuevo Horizonte”, manifestó “nos parece muy lindo porque este proyecto estaba prometido hace muchos años, actualmente el jardín está muy lejos de donde vivimos y sin duda va a ser más seguro porque tenemos a Carabineros al lado, el SAR, al frente una escuela, así que muy felices que hoy se concrete”.  

Finalmente, Patricia Fernández directora (S) de Integra Atacama, valoró el apoyo entregado por la municipalidad y el GORE para la concreción de la obra. “Estamos muy agradecidos por las gestiones de la municipalidad y del gobierno regional que ha dado prioridad a este proyecto que llevaba bastante tiempo en carpeta y hoy se está materializando y se puede apreciar como los niños, como las familias están contentas porque esperamos que nuestros jardines cumplan con todas condiciones normativas para continuar entregando educación de calidad”.        

El nuevo jardín infantil tendrá una capacidad para 132 párvulos y contará con:  1 sala cuna, 2 niveles medio menor, 2 niveles medio mayor, 1 sala multiuso y de lactancia, además de juegos infantiles didácticos y huertos urbanos.
