Muere otro adulto mayor en la Red Asistencial
Ayer en la tarde el Servicio de Salud de Atacama informó que un nuevo adulto mayor murió a causa del coronavirus en la Red Asistencial de la Región de Atacama; según los datos regionales van 85 víctimas fatales.
En este caso se trató de un paciente de 77 años que estaba internado en el Hospital Regional San José del Carmen de Copiapó; lo que se supo es que a pesar de la atención médica no logró sobrevivir debido a las complicaciones que sufrió tras contraer el virus.
A pesar de que el Servicio de Salud actualizó la cifra de defunciones en 85, el Departamento de Estadísticas e Investigación de Salud (Deis) la mantiene en 92; estos serían los confirmados mediante la aplicación de PCR en los laboratorios. (FKG)
