Modelo de prevención del delito de Enami recibe certificación Feller Rate

Tras diez meses de trabajo desde lacreación de su área de Compliance, el certificado de cumplimiento Feller Rate fue entregado al encargado de Prevención de Delitos de la Empresa Nacional de Minería (Enami), Omar Oyaneder. Hizo entrega de la certificación Álvaro Feller, quien ejerce como presidente de la clasificadora y certificadora entre las entidades inscritas ante la Comisión para el Mercado Financiero (CMF).            

Después de casi nueve semanas de trabajo conjunto para validar la información y revisar documentos relacionados, el informe de Feller Rate confirma el camino recorrido por la estatal para perfeccionar los estándares de transparencia en la gestión de sus procesos, en el marco de su plan estratégico.               

“Como empresa del Estado debemos destacar por un desempeño íntegro y apegado a la legislación vigente de nuestro país. Esto también es parte del rol que se nos ha encomendado, y que está al servicio de la pequeña y mediana minería de nuestro país”, explicó Robert Mayne-Nicholls, vicepresidente ejecutivo de la estatal.“La certificación nos permite ver las brechas que tenemos para ir mejorándolas y además nos permite tener un documento de un ente externo, que nos pueda decir ante un tercero, que tenemos un modelo robusto”.         

Omar Oyaneder, encargado de Prevención de Delitos de Enami, señaló:“Esto es un hito que mejora nuestro ambiente de control con un modelo implementado, operando, vivo y certificado, en un trabajo que nos involucra a todos”.                                                                                                                                     
En tanto, Álvaro Feller agradeció la confianza y participación durante el proceso de certificación: “Sinceramente es un privilegio y honor haber trabajado con Enami, una entidad del Estado que tiene un rol importante dentro de la minería y la economía del país”.                                                                    

En la ceremonia también estuvieron presentes ejecutivos y dirigentes sindicales, en representación de los trabajadores de la empresa.
