El chilenoGuillermo «Mito» Pereira alcanzó el mejor ranking de su carrera luego de aparecer por primera vez entre los 100 mejores del listado del golf mundial.
El deportista nacional fue tercero en el Fortinet Championship, el primer evento de la temporada 2021-2022 del PGA Tour en su mejor registro en la máxima categoría y ello le valió sumar 16 puntos que le permitieron escalar del casillero 105° al 82°.
En tanto, que Joaquín Niemann se mantuvo 30° en el listado.
Mientras que en la parte alta, John Rahm sigue como líder escoltado por los estadounidenses Dustin Johnson y Collin Morikawa.
