Minsal informa 18 fallecidos y 503 nuevos casos de COVID-19 en el país
El ministerio de Salud entregó este miércoles un nuevo balance respecto al estado de avance del coronavirus en nuestro país, confirmando un total de 36.456 fallecidos y 1.630.831 contagiados.
Respecto a los fallecidos, se registraron 18 nuevos decesos a nivel nacional, según información entregada por el Departamento de Estadísticas e Información de Salud (DEIS).
Además, se reportó un total de 503 nuevos contagios, de los cuales 399 corresponden a personas con síntomas y 84 asintomáticos mientras que 20 no han sido notificados.
En Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos permanecen 961 pacientes, de los cuales 741 están con ventilación mecánica. Asimismo, se reportó que hay 534 camas críticas disponibles.
Por otro lado, se realizaron 26.399 exámenes PCR en las últimas 24 horas, acumulando a la fecha 18.992.224 test.
También se informó que hay 5.860 cupos disponibles en las 142 residencias sanitarias en todo el país, para personas que han sido diagnosticadas con la enfermedad y que no pueden realizar aislamiento efectivo en su domicilio.
