Ministerio de Energía y SEC exigen a eléctricas fortalecer canales de atención

Frente al aumento de reclamos por el proceso de facturación provisoria implementado por las empresas en medio de la pandemia por el Covid-19, este lunes a primera hora el ministro (s) de Energía, Francisco López, y los gerentes generales de las distribuidoras se reunieron de forma telemática para abordar los problemas que se han registrado al calcular los montos en las cuentas de la luz.

Si bien la Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles (SEC) ya había oficiado a las compañías para que presentaran medidas que solucionen esta problemática, el secretario de Estado junto al superintendente Luis Ávila, dio a conocer en esta cita con los ejecutivos un nuevo oficio que exige respuestas concretas ante el conflicto.

“He citado a las empresas eléctricas para que se hagan cargo de estos reclamos de los ciudadanos por eventuales facturaciones excesivas y para que adopten medidas de inmediato para darle tranquilidad a las personas. Ellos tienen la obligación de informar a los usuarios y de tener abiertos todos los canales de información disponibles para sus consultas”, indicó López.

Así, las empresas deberán adoptar las medidas necesarias para fortalecer sus canales de atención e informar a sus clientes respecto a los efectos y medidas de la facturación provisoria,
por lo que es necesario que cada compañía informe a la SEC –en un plazo de dos días hábiles- sobre un plan de acción que considere los siguientes puntos:

1.- Medidas que fortalezcan los canales de atención, considerando los actuales flujos de llamadas, para estabilizar el nivel de atención en llamadas a call centers, con impacto en los contactos que requieren atención de ejecutivo.

2.- Plan comunicacional que informe de manera proactiva a todos sus clientes, de forma clara y accesible: *** Horario y disponibilidad de plataformas de atención y medios de pago presenciales y remotos. *** Canales disponibles para entrega de lecturas. *** Canales disponibles para ingreso de solicitudes Covid. *** El método de facturación actual de su cuenta, acciones que debe realizar el ciudadano para la regularización de posibles discrepancias, medios disponibles para ingreso de regularización y/o reclamo y tiempos de respuesta.

El Superintendente informó que la SEC está recibiendo casi 10 veces más reclamos asociados a facturación y aseguró que las empresas tienen la obligación de disponer de canales de atención adecuados y suficientes que permitan capturar las denuncias de sus clientes. “Por lo mismo es que les hemos instruido a reforzar sus equipos y mejorar sus canales disponibles para escuchar a sus clientes y de esta forma solucionar a la brevedad los problemas de facturación que les afectan”, afirmó.
