Minería busca agilizar tramitación de proyectos
Uno de los participantes de la reunión interministerial fue el titular de Minería, Baldo Prokurica, quien señaló que uno de los focos de la exposición de los Ministros Brumel y Briones fue el planteamiento de la delicada situación que atraviesan las arcas fiscales ante el impacto de la pandemia.
“El ministro Briones nos pidió restringir los gastos, hacer una racionalización del uso de las platas fiscales”, explicó Prokurica.
El jefe de la cartera agregó que otra de las tareas se preparan de forma organizada y coordinada por enfrentar la situación de la economía que existirá en la pospandemia. “Tenemos que generar las condiciones para que los proyectos de inversión, cuidando la salud de la gente y cumpliendo con la legislación vigente, puedan ser aprobados a la brevedad”, explicó el ministro, quien esta semana dio a conocer el poyo del Gobierno a la iniciativa que busca realizar la consulta pública vía online.
Según las cifras del SEA, a la fecha existen 67 proyectos mineros en calificación, los que representan una inversión de US$10.804 millones.
