La Mesa Social Autoconvocada propone anticiparse y coordinar acciones concretas para disminuir el riesgo de la transmisión del virus durante las fiestas de fin de año y en el periodo de vacaciones. Para ello solicita a las autoridades comunales y de Gobierno:
Impulsar con fuerza un Plan de difusión con medidas de seguridad en Pandemia.
Estricta fiscalización al comercio, asegurando correcta utilización de las medidas recomendadas por la autoridad sanitaria, la distancia física, uso de mascarillas y disponer de alcohol gel.
NO realizar eventos públicos masivos o actividades que impliquen aglomeración de personas, como las fiestas de Año Nuevo y el lanzamiento de fuegos artificiales.
Promover que la celebración de Navidad y Año nuevo; sea un encuentro familiar, de pocas personas.
Mantener un Programa de apoyo social y económico dirigido a las personas de más escasos recursos.
Fiscalización respecto de la circulación entre comunas en nuestra región.

Además el colectivo, entrega una serie de sugerencias, dirigidas a la comunidad.
Al aproximarse periodo de vacaciones y el consiguiente desplazamiento a la costa, sugerimos:
Promover que las familias que tengan, ocupen sus segundas viviendas en la costa, respetando las medidas sanitarias. También, acampar en playas habilitadas, siempre manteniendo las medidas sanitarias
Recomendar que se habilite todo el litoral de la región, para evitar concentración en las playas más populares.
Proporcionar información necesaria si es solicitada por las autoridades para permitir la trazabilidad.
La vocera de la organización, Mat. Jéssica Rojas indicó: “hoy tenemos la posibilidad de poner en práctica lo que hemos aprendido de este virus.
