Mañalich recibe cargamento con 87 ventiladores mecánicos
El ministro de Salud, Jaime Mañalich, recibió este sábado un nuevo cargamento con 87 ventiladores mecánicos que se sumarán al equipo destinado para enfrentar la pandemia del coronavirus que afecta al país.
El secretario de Estado afirmó que se trata de respiradores de alta tecnología, “que obedece al plan del presidente Sebastián Piñera para que todas las personas que tengan una infección por coronavirus en esta temporada tengan el tratamiento que necesitan”.
Dijo que, de acuerdo a las cifras de los últimos días, de pacientes que se han conectado a ventilación mecánica, “nuestro proyecto de dotar más de cuatro mil respiradores a la red integrada de Covid tiene que acelerarse”.
En ese sentido, adelantó el cronograma para la llegada de nuevo equipamiento, ya que con los 82 que llegaron ayer, la dotación -el lunes- estará en 636, pero el 14 de mayo llegará a 686; el 16 a 786; el 19 a 906; el 20 a 1.011; el 21 a 1.051; y el 25 de este mes a1.751, que estarán disponibles para ser trasladados por todo el país.
