Maduro anuncia que Asamblea Constituyente cesará funciones tras elecciones legislativas venezolanas
Nicolás Maduro dijo el martes que la chavista Asamblea Constituyente que rige en Venezuela funcionará hasta diciembre próximo, cuando será escogido un nuevo Parlamento en unas elecciones boicoteadas por la oposición y cuestionadas por Estados Unidos y la Unión Europea.
“La Asamblea Nacional Constituyente va a funcionar hasta diciembre. Ya así lo ha decidido”, dijo Maduro en una videoconferencia del gobernante Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV). Electa el 30 de julio de 2017 entre masivas protestas que dejaron más de un centenar de muertos, la Constituyente ha tomado de facto las atribuciones del Parlamento, el único poder que controla la oposición en el país caribeño, promulgando decretos-ley de aplicación inmediata.
