El ex mandatario brasileño Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva lanzó su candidatura para las elecciones presidenciales de octubre, con un mensaje de «esperanza» y dispuesto a hacer «la mayor revolución pacífica» de la historia de Brasil.
«Queremos volver para que nadie nunca más ose desafiar la democracia y para que el fascismo sea devuelto a la alcantarilla», dijo Lula, un acto en un centro de convenciones de Sao Paulo, donde estuvo acompañado por cientos de militantes, parlamentarios, artistas y representantes sindicales y sociales.
