Los protocolos de Sonami para prevenir el Covid-19 en la minería
La Sociedad Nacional de Minería (SONAMI) ha hecho una serie de recomendaciones para enfrentar el COVID-19 y prevenir contagios ante la emergencia sanitaria, con foco principal en la salud de sus trabajadores, sus familias y comunidades.
Las compañías mineras, por su parte, han implementado una serie de medidas adicionales, en el contexto de la importancia que significa para el sector proteger la salud y seguridad de sus trabajadores.
Todo ello, tomando como base los protocolos y medidas sanitarias dispuestas por la autoridad respectiva, tales como el de limpieza y desinfección de ambientes, y manejo de contacto de casos según protocolos del Ministerio de Salud, Dictamen 1239/005 de la Dirección del Trabajo, entre otros.
En lo fundamental, se enfatiza que la responsabilidad es compartida, tanto por la compañía como por sus trabajadores, en el entendido de que el autocuidado es clave para enfrentar con éxito la emergencia sanitaria, este es un resumen de las principales medidas de prevención en las faenas mineras.
MEDIDAS GENERALES
-Realizar monitoreo continuo del estado de salud de trabajadores y contratistas, y disposición permanente de profesionales de la salud para responder consultas.
-Evitar todo lo que no tenga carácter de urgente tales como reuniones presenciales, mantenciones, viajes hacia y desde el extranjero, entre otros.
-Incrementar la frecuencia de aseo y sanitización de las instalaciones de faena, tales como casino, baños, salas de cambio, entre otras. Disponer de alcohol gel y mascarillas en todas las instalaciones.
– Extender la vigencia de exámenes médicos, credenciales, permisos de conducción internos u otras certificaciones por al menos los próximos 60 días a fin de evitar el trámite presencial.
-Cada trabajador es responsable de mantener sanitizados sus artículos electrónicos y herramientas de uso compartido como son los teclados, celulares, radios, etc.
-Dar las facilidades al personal cuyas labores lo permitan, de trabajar en la modalidad de teletrabajo, para disminuir la densidad de uso de oficinas. Promover las reuniones online, facilitando las plataformas adecuadas para ello.
-Comunicación y coordinación permanente con la autoridad relevante (Gobernación, Intendencia, Seremi de Salud, autoridades de servicios de salud, entre otros).
– Comunicación y coordinación permanente con comités paritarios y sindicatos de trabajadores.
ACCIONES PARA EL INGRESO A FAENA
-Aplicar autoevaluación de salud a cualquier persona que ingrese a faena.
– Incluir control de temperatura que se realiza in situ.
-Prohibir el acceso a faena a todo aquel personal que pueda ser sospechoso de contagio, sea de empresa mandante o contratista, como también de proveedores.
-Establecer rutina de sanitización de pertenencias de los trabajadores y contratistas. A
ACCIONES EN CASINOS Y COMEDORES
-Extender horarios de atención de comedores.
-Para el personal de servicio de alimentación, es mandatorio el uso correcto de mascarillas y guantes para la atención de público.
-Lavado de manos obligatorio al ingreso y salida de comedores.
-Asignar horarios de uso del comedor para evitar aglomeraciones mayores de trabajadores.
-Asegurar la sanitización efectiva y ventilación de los espacios comunes.
– Respetar distancia mínima de un metro en todo momento.
– Prohibir el uso de celular en casinos y comedores, tanto en líneas de atención como en las mesas.
-En la mediana minería, favorecer y facilitar comida traída desde el hogar, para evitar manipulación y aglomeraciones en casinos y otros.
TRANSPORTE
-Sanitización adicional para vehículos de transporte de trabajadores a las faenas.
-Lavar las manos y control de temperatura antes de subir al vehículo de transporte.
-Favorecer el uso de vehículos propios para evitar contacto directo con otros trabajadores, en la medida de lo posible (en particular en la mediana minería), considerando las medidas de seguridad de cada una de las empresas.
ACTUACIÓN EN CASO DE ENCONTRAR POSITIVOS
-Aplicar el Plan de Acción establecido por el Ministerio de Salud
-Reportar en forma inmediata el caso a dicha institución y trasladar al posible afectado o afectada a la unidad de atención primaria de salud, cuidando la privacidad del afectado.
