Familiares y amigos despidieron con sentido homenaje a destacado deportista y profesor Jorge Ávila
Ayer se realizaron las exequias fúnebres de quien fuera el destacado deportista y profesor de Copiapó, Jorge Ávila, que falleció esta semana a los 67 años.
De destacada trayectoria deportiva y docente, Ávila fue despedido por familiares, colegas y amigos, quienes partieron en el cortejo fúnebre desde el domicilio donde estaba siendo velado en Villa Magisterio, deteniéndose luego frente al Liceo José Antonio Carvajal, donde trabajó por años como profesor. Los asistentes depositaron ahí ofrendas florales, dedicándole además un minuto de silencio.
Finalmente, el querido profesor fue sepultado en el Cementerio Parque, donde sus hijos dedicaron sentidas palabras en su memoria.
