Experto aseguró que asistencia a marcha del 8M fue de mínimo 800 mil personas
Según aseguró la Coordinadora 8M que convocó a la movilización, dos millones de personas participaron de la marcha por el Día de la Mujer que se realizó en la región Metropolitana.
“Este balance nos dice que se trata de una movilización histórica, sino porque las mujeres en disidencia hemos decidido ejercer nuestro derecho constitucional a la protesta (…) decidimos salir a las calles con la convicción de que era necesario pasar a la primera línea contra el terrorismo de Estado y enfrentar la grave situación de DDHH”, declararon desde la vocería de la Coordinadora 8M.
Sin embargo, la cifra difiere respecto de la estimación realizada por Carabineros, institución que aseguró que solo fueron 150 mil asistentes.
Sin embargo, las fotografías y los testimonios de las asistentes dejan en evidencia que la participación fue histórica. Según señaló el especialista en Planificación Urbana de la Universidad Católica, Pablo Guzmán, la asistencia fue “desde” las 800 mil personas.
Pero, realizando un cálculo según la superficie usada en la marcha, Guzmán aseguró que llegaron 800 mil personas al centro de Santiago y que incluso la cifra podría ser superior.
