En encuentro con organizaciones femeninas: Seremi de Gobierno: “Reforma a Pensiones es un acto de justicia para que chilenos tengan mejor jubilación”
Tras el anuncio del Presidente Sebastián Piñera en cadena nacional, referente a la Reforma a las pensiones, la Secretaria Regional Ministerial de Gobierno, María Francisca Plaza Velis, afirmó que nuestro principal objetivo es “que los chilenos tengan una mejor jubilación, que se reduzca la brecha entre hombres y mujeres, y que ningún pensionado viva bajo la línea de la pobreza».
“Hemos escuchado con mucha humildad a nuestros compatriotas y estamos realizado todos los esfuerzos necesarios para poder mejorar la calidad de vida de todos los chilenos, por cierto atacameños. En este marco es que nos resulta fundamental iniciar un nuevo y mejor trato con nuestros adultos mayores”, agregó la autoridad.
La Seremi de Gobierno explicó que la reforma presentada tiene dos objetivos “Uno es mejorar las pensiones de todos y el otro es mejorar el funcionamiento del actual sistema. Para mejorar las pensiones, en una primera etapa, particularmente en diciembre del 2019, aumentamos las pensiones del pilar básico solidario en un 50%. Con esta segunda etapa mejoraremos las pensiones de todos los jubilados y especialmente las de la clase media, las mujeres y los adultos mayores no valentes”.
“Hoy el 10% de tu sueldo va a tu ahorro previsional. Con esta reforma, este 10% aumentará a un 16%. Este mayor ahorro del 6% será gradual, de cargo del empleador y será administrado por una nueva entidad pública y no por las AFP. El nuevo sistema tendrá un carácter mixto. Un 3% irá directamente a tu nueva cuenta de ahorro previsional personal y mejorará tu pensión futura. Otro 3% irá a un fondo de ahorro previsional solidario, logrando que los que ganan más, apoyen a quienes ganan menos y que más lo necesitan”, argumentó la vocera regional del Gobierno.
Con esta reforma los hombres actualmente pensionados que tengan al menos 12 años de cotizaciones recibirán 2 UF extra mensuales ($ 56.600), es decir, un aumento promedio de 20%, lo que beneficiará a más de 500 mil pensionados.
En el caso de las mujeres actualmente pensionadas que tengan al menos 8 años de cotizaciones, recibirán 2,5 UF extra mensuales ($ 70.800), un aumento promedio de 32%, lo que beneficiará a más de 350 mil pensionadas.
Los adultos mayores con dependencia severa recibirán además un incremento adicional de sus pensiones para enfrentar sus mayores gastos.
La Seremi de Gobierno dijo también que esta iniciativa “no es más que un acto de justicia, de equidad, de desarrollo e integridad. Como no va a ser importante ver este avance, que sin duda va en directo beneficios de nuestros compatriotas, particularmente adultos mayores, que han dado su vida por el desarrollo de nuestro país”.
En casos excepcionales, como enfermedades terminales, se recalculará la expectativa de vida y se permitirá retirar en forma anticipada parte de los ahorros previsionales.
Esta Reforma, sumada a la mejora del Pilar Solidario, garantizará que ningún pensionado quedará por debajo de la línea de pobreza y que las pensiones de quienes hayan cotizado por 30 años o más, estarán siempre por encima del monto actual del salario mínimo, en UF.
La reforma al Pilar Solidario ya implementada, unida a esta nueva Reforma, benefician a más de 2 millones de pensionados, lo que representa el 85% de pensionados de nuestro país, que recibirán incrementos superiores a $ 55 mil mensuales. Ambas reformas tienen un costo muy significativo, que exige un gran aporte y esfuerzo del Estado.
