En el Estadio Luis Valenzuela Hermosilla se vive el ‘Atacama Hockey Cup’
Con gran entusiasmo, tanto por los elencos participantes, como de la organización y la afición, en el Estadio Luis Valenzuela Hermosilla se disputa el Campeonato de Hockey Césped, «Atacama Hockey Cup» que ha organizado Lobas Hockey Club.
Tras los primeros Encuentros, se efectuó la ceremonia de inauguración, ocasión en la cual la Seremi del Deporte, Arling Guzmán, recibió a los equipos, damas y varones, que vienen de diferentes regiones del país a este torneo que cuenta con el apoyo del Mindep-IND Atacama.
La autoridad deportiva expresó a Diario Chañarcillo “se está desarrollando en este momento el «Atacama Hockey Cup» en la region. Muy contentos porque es el primer evento nacional que se reliza de hockey sobre césped; así es que como Ministerio del Deporte y gobierno del Presidente Gabriel Boric queremos seguir impulsando el deporte y apertura los espacios para toda la comunidad”.
Acotó “esperamos seguiir apoyando al Club Lobas de Hockey, para que puedan continuar impulsando estas actividades y poder democratizar este deporte tan bonito, que se está desarrollando en este momento”.
Por su parte, José Cortés, entrenador de las Lobas indicó que “ha sido un placer estar tratando de fomenter el hockey acá en la region. Con mucho esfuerzo hemos conseguido grandes cosas; llevamos alrededor de unos seis años trabajando en esto, y ya está dando luces. Hemos conseguido el estadio, también buenos auspiciadores y han venido equipos de toda la region. Uno de los proyectos futuros es iniciar bien la filial de hombres; ya tenemos varios compañeros y me incluyo, que vamos a ir a jugar en la próxima semana a un nacional con un equipo de Antofagasta; pero quizás en un future más adelante, tanto la rama femenina como la masculina ser representantes de la region en lo que es el campeonato nacional”. Destacó que el club tiene alrededor de 30 jugadoras en la serie superior; y siete en varones. Están en la tarea de seguir proyectando esta disciplina, y es así que disponen del llamado ‘semillero’, con entusiastas menores, que serán a futuros los primeros equipos del Club.
Por su parte, Gabriel León, integrante del team masculine de Lobas Hockey Club, dijo “este es el Segundo Campeonato organizado por Las Lobas en Copiapó, y encantado de estar participando con otros equipos que vienen de afuera, compartiendo esta bonita a experiencia junto a nosotros. Todos compartiendo la pasión y el amor por este deporte, que ojalá se proyecte. Invito a las personas a conocer e integrarse a hockey”.
Estefany Donoso, jugadora de Las Lobas señaló la labor formative que le compete, en la enseñanza de las nuevas valores del hockey sobre césped. “Hemos hecho torneos más pequeños en años anteriores; desde el 2018 que estamos formados como club y este año quisimos hacer algo más grande y lo estamos viviendo ahora con el Atacama Hockey Cup, que lo preparamos desde enero. Hoy ya se cumple y con el apoyo del Ministerio del Deporte, el IND y nuestro colaborador Futuro Atacama, para realizar este evento. Agradecer el apoyo de empresas e instituciones y estamos muy felices de estar realizando este campeonato y dejar invitada a la comunidad, aún nos queda hockey este domingo desde las 08.30 horas estaremos haciendo hockey en el estadio Luis Valenzuela Hermosilla”.
CLAUSURA:
Acotar que el torneo vivirá hoy su última jornada de partidos y la correspondiente clausura y premiación:
08.30 horas: Primera semifinal: 1er lugar versus 4º lugar.
09.00 horas; Segunda semifinal: 2º lugar versus 3er lugar.
10.00 horas: Final de varones: 1º y 2º lugares.
10.50 horas: Receso (sorpresa).
11.30 horas: Definición por el 3er lugar.
12.15 horas: Final de mujeres: 1º y 2º lugar.
13.00 horas: Premiación.
