Empresario venezolano Mendoza califica como “arbitraria” medida contra Alimentos Polar
Lorenzo Mendoza, presidente de la mayor compañía privada de Venezuela, Empresas Polar, calificó como arbitrarias las medidas del gobierno contra su principal unidad productora de alimentos, en medio de una profunda crisis económica que se agrava por la escasez de combustible en un país en cuarentena.
La vicepresidenta ejecutiva, Delcy Rodríguez, anunció el viernes una venta supervisada en Alimentos Polar, como parte de un plan de control de precios, con los que busca el gobierno atenuar la inflación, que en el primer trimestre registró un acumulado de 124%, según datos del Banco Central.
“No hay ninguna razón ni justificación para esta medida arbitraria”, dijo el presidente de Empresas Polar, Lorenzo Mendoza, en un comunicado difundido en las redes sociales de la empresa, en el cual solicitó dejar sin efecto la decisión gubernamental contra la compañía.
