Defensoría de Atacama aportó con onces para 300 niños de Copiapó
La Defensoría Regional de Atacama entregó diversos alimentos a la congregación mexicana Carmelitas Misioneras de Santa Teresa que beneficiará a 300 niños de las diversas tomas que existen en Copiapó.
La campaña solidaria estuvo a cargo de la jefa de Estudios del organismo, Violeta Villalobos Utreras, quien acudió en representación de los defensores locales y demás funcionarios institucionales, que enviaron un aporte para que las religiosas sigan ayudando a “los más vulnerables en este tipo de situaciones”
La hermana Carla, explicó que “apoyamos en diferentes tomas de Copiapó, ya que hay muchas necesidades. Damos once todos los días viernes. Nosotras mismas preparamos el pan, armamos el sándwich y la leche. En un principio eran 60 niños, ahora ya vamos en 300”, explicó.
“Nosotros no juzgamos a nadie; prestamos defensa penal a todo tipo de personas, chilenas o extranjeras, que hayan sido imputadas de cometer algún delito o falta desde la primera imputación hasta que se termina cumpliendo la sentencia, en caso de que sean condenadas. Entregamos defensa de calidad para que la gente se sienta representada y salgan de la situación en la que se encuentran”, aseguró la jefa de Estudios. (FKG)
