Este lunes la Conmebol dio a conocer el fixture definitivo de la Copa América 2021, que se jugará en Argentina y Colombia, y donde la Roja disputará el partido inaugural ante la escuadra albiceleste, en Buenos Aires.
El campeonato se llevará a cabo entre el 13 de junio y el 10 de julio, día en que está proyectada la final.
La selección chilena hará su estreno precisamente en el primer día de competición frente a Argentina, en Buenos Aires, mismo día que jugarán Paraguay y Bolivia, en Mendoza.
El torneo mantendrá su formato pese a que no lo disputarán los invitados Qatar y Australia, por lo cual solo habrá 10 selecciones participantes.
«Con la ausencia de selecciones invitadas, la Conmebol reprogramó los partidos y sedes, con la finalidad de mantener el alto nivel de competitividad y ofrecer un torneo histórico a millones de hinchas alrededor del mundo», señaló el organismo en un comunicado.
