“Conecta con el Patrimonio: Cuentos y leyendas de Atacama”: Lanzan libro en Braille sobre el Patrimonio de Atacama
Cultura y Patrimonio para todos. Con eso en mente la arquitecta Ruth Guerrero Paredes se lanzó a la aventura de un proyecto que reúne cuentos y leyendas de la región, las que serán transmitidas a nuevas generaciones en formato Braille y en videos con Lengua de Señas. Con estos dos pilares, el proyecto busca ser inspiración para que nuevos actores se sumen a esta tarea de inclusión. “Queremos que sea un aporte hacia el reconocimiento de la Identidad Cultural, cuya transmisión nos insta a conocer nuestro entorno, así como estrechar vínculos entre la educación y los estudiantes”, señala la profesional, quién por años estuvo vinculada al trabajo patrimonial en una institución pública de la región.
Este proyecto -apadrinado por la Asociación de micro, pequeños y medianos empresarios de Vallenar ASPYMEVALL, financiado por el Servicio Nacional de la Discapacidad SENADIS de Atacama y ejecutado por la Gestora Patrimonial Ruth Guerrero Paredes en el marco del Fondo Nacional de Discapacidad 2018- es, en palabras de su creadora, “una herramienta que acortará la brecha de distintas limitantes sensoriales, apoyando el desarrollo cognitivo de los estudiantes y como estrategia de aprendizaje que esperamos sea utilizado en los distintos establecimientos educacionales de Atacama”.
La intención de esta iniciativa es poner a disposición un material cultural accesible, que se adapte a todos y todas, permitiendo que la comprensión de cada relato de este libro y DVD entregue conceptos, lugares, personajes y momentos propios de nuestro territorio a cualquier a que le interese viajar por la lectura, otorgando acceso igualitario para valorar el patrimonio y preconocer el entorno inmediato.
En este sentido, una de las escritoras que forma parte de este compilado de relatos regionales, Patricia Rivera Figueroa, comenta que “esta es un significativo aporte a la literatura atacameña, por su contenido seleccionador de leyendas. Los diez relatos incluidos nos llevan a lugares del territorio de la Región de Atacama y en voz de sus autores que dan vida a la mitología identitaria”. El trabajo de este libro se realizó de manera conjunta de 4 establecimientos educacionales: Escuela República de los Estados Unidos; Escuela El Olivillo, de Fundación COANIL; Escuela rural Ignacio Franco Gallo, de Vallenar; y la Escuela El Olivar, de Huasco Bajo. Teniendo como base la participación individual y colectiva de estudiantes se compartió un espacio inclusivo de aprendizaje construido para enriquecer las distintas necesidades especiales presentes en el aula y también crear conciencia sobre los distintos métodos de aprendizaje.
Pablo Ogalde Meneses, presidente de ASPYMEVALL, agrega que “agradecemos la oportunidad de participar y apoyar esta tremenda iniciativa. Felicito a su gestora por este trabajo que va en beneficio de la comunidad con discapacidad visual y auditiva”.
Este material cultural accesible contempla la entrega gratuita de 300 libros y 300 DVD con 10 cuentos y leyendas de distintas comunas de la región a bibliotecas, establecimientos educacionales y agrupaciones con personas en situación de discapacidad, dando respuesta a una proyección regional a modo de fomentar y crear nuevos espacios de lectura.
