Con 8 muertos y 166 accidentes se inicia el fin de semana largo
Ocho muertos y 94 lesionados en el contexto de 166 accidentes registrados en distintas rutas del país, es el balance entregado por Carabineros entre este viernes y la mañana de este sábado.
Lo anterior, en el marco de fin de semana largo que vive Chile, cuando miles de habitantes optan por viajar y salir de sus comunas y regiones.
Según lo informado por Carabineros, para este viernes 29 se esperaba el egreso de 135 mil vehículos desde la región Metropolitana, no obstante, la cifra fue superada, llegando a los 141 mil, por las rutas 5 Sur y 68.
El principal destino, según constató Radio Bío Bío, es el litoral central.
En tanto, para este sábado la estimación es de 144 mil en total, y hasta las 08:00 horas, el total de vehículos que salieron de la RM fueron 23 mil, esperando que el peak de flujo vehicular sea entre las 10:00 y 15:00 horas.
A su vez, informaron que se han generado 166 accidentes en el país, los que dejaron ocho fallecidos y 94 lesionados.
