Comisión de Constitución del Senado inició debate del proyecto de retiro de pensiones
La Comisión de Constitución, Legislación, Justicia y Reglamento del Senado comenzó este viernes a las 10:30 la discusión del proyecto que permite retirar hasta el 10 % de los fondos de pensiones que administran las AFP. Este es el primer paso del proyecto en el Senado, luego que el miércoles fuese aprobado en la Cámara de Diputados, el artículo que permite el retiro del 10 % de los fondos de pensión, y rechazado el que ordenaba la creación de un fondo colectivo.
Se espera que para la discusión en la Comisión del Senado participen la ministra del Trabajo, María José Zaldívar y su par de Hacienda, Ignacio Briones. Una vez que el proyecto deje la Comisión de Constitución, la iniciativa debería ser votada en Sala el próximo martes, donde tendrá que obtener 26 votos para su aprobación, por el momento tiene los 24 votos de la oposición asegurados, requiriendo dos de Chile Vamos.
Desde La Moneda han intentado frenar el proyecto que avanza por moción parlamentaria, incluso anunciando las dos últimas semanas medidas dirigidas a la clase media y reuniéndose con los dirigentes de los partidos de la coalición de Gobierno. Aun así, en la Cámara de Diputados 13 diputados de Chile Vamos votaron a favor de la iniciativa, por lo que incluso cinco diputados de la UDI fueron llevados al Tribunal Supremo del partido.
