’Chaleco’ López con grandes ansias de su participación en el Dakar
El piloto chileno Francisco ‘Chaleco’ López se encuentra hace varios días en Arabia Saudita listo y dispuesto para correr un nuevo Rally Dakar junto a su copiloto Juan Pablo Latrach.
Ayer jueves ensayó arriba de su UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) y entregó sus sensaciones a solo días de iniciar la carrera más difícil del mundo.
Tras terminar la prueba, ‘Chaleco’ contó en sus propias palabras que “fue un día de prueba, tuvimos las primeras sensaciones. Fuimos mejorando de menos a más, lo que nos deja muy contentos”.
Sobre algo de la estrategia que ocuparán en las primeras etapas de la carrera, López argumentó que “es una carrera muy larga así que hay que tomarse las cosas con calma. Probamos en el mismo circuito el año pasado en Jeddah. Ya estamos con muchas ganas de partir ya que hemos estado acá ya hace un par de días y las sensaciones son muy buenas”.
El Rally Dakar 2022 inicia este sábado 1 de enero y culmina el 14 del mismo mes del 2022. Un total de 11 chilenos buscarán quedarse con el título en distintas categorías.
