Son cerca de 60 creadores culturales los que participan de esta plataforma virtual que tiene como objetivo mitigar los efectos económicos provocados por la pandemia del coronavirus entre los artistas locales, además de entregar contenido de calidad a la comunidad. Entre los participantes destacan escritores, audiovisualistas, solistas, grupos de música, compañías de teatro, cantantes y profesionales ligados al mundo del circo y bailarines, entre otros.
El alcalde de Copiapó, Marcos López, indicó que “es una buena instancia para que los profesionales ligados al mundo de la cultura y el arte puedan dar a conocer su trabajo entre la comunidad. Se trata de una iniciativa que está teniendo una gran acogida y ya suma numerosas reproducciones en nuestras plataformas digitales”.
Pamela Soto, es otra de las cantantes que muestra su trabajo en este proyecto financiado con la glosa del 2% del Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Regional en apoyo de los artistas locales. Con 7 años se subió por primera vez a un escenario, luego estudió música en la antigua escuela de Cultura y Difusión Artística, el actual Liceo de Música, y en la Universidad, hasta que el destino la llevó en el año 2.000 a México, donde participó en diferentes instancias artísticas. Desde que llegó a Copiapó se ha dedicado a la educación musical preescolar, con una metodología que ella misma ha creado para enseñar música a niños de entre 1 a 6 años de edad. Trabajo que mantiene paralizado producto de la actual pandemia.
“Han sido momentos complicados, para todos, no solo para los cantantes o músicos, pero hemos fortalecido de a poco la opción de que el arte es absolutamente necesario en una sociedad, en la educación, en cada momento donde necesitamos expresar o manifestar algo. Yo confío plenamente en que los compañeros y compañeras artistas estamos usando todas las herramientas para cumplir nuestra misión dentro de esta pandemia”, manifestó.
Sobre esta iniciativa que desde el pasado mes de septiembre está desarrollando el municipio, indicó que “me parece excelente, nos apoya, nos complementa, nos da la posibilidad de mostrarnos y acompañar a la ciudad en sus momentos de descanso. Estoy muy agradecida por tener esta posibilidad”.
