Carabineros refuerza los controles carreteros durante fin de semana largo
Como se anunció a principio de semana, Carabineros reforzó los servicios policiales preventivos y operativos en los diversos puntos de la región de Atacama, con el fin de brindar a la comunidad un fin de semana seguro sin accidentes de tránsito y delitos de mayor connotación social.
Estos servicios policiales están siendo fiscalizados por el propio Jefe de la III Zona de Carabineros Atacama, general Juan Pablo Caneo Farías, quien junto al Intendente (s), Ignacio Urcullu y la Directora Regional de Senda, Silvia Jorquera, han recorrido diversos puntos de la ciudad de Copiapó, para incentivar el autocuidado.
De acuerdo a lo manifestado por las autoridades lo que se busca en estos controles y fiscalizaciones reforzadas es evitar los desplazamientos a segundas viviendas y también evitar la ocurrencia de accidentes de tránsito, ya sea por exceso de velocidad, consumo de alcohol o drogas durante la conducción.
Por esta razón, personal de las diversas especialidades dependientes de la Prefectura Atacama se encuentra ejecutando fiscalizaciones, tanto en ruta como en la zona urbana, con el objetivo de evitar accidentes de tránsito, tráfico y microtráfico de drogas y delitos de mayor connotación social.
El llamado de las autoridades es siempre a la prevención y autocuidado, recordando que para las comunas de Copiapó y Tierra Amarilla, así como Vallenar están prohibidos los desplazamientos a segundas viviendas y rige la cuarentena durante estos festivos.
