Carabineros detecta nuevo traslado de Inmigrantes ilegales en bus interurbano
Personal de Carabineros de la Subcomisaria I.A.T. y Carreteras Atacama Norte mientras realizaba controles vehiculares en la Ruta 5 Norte km 846, fiscalizaron al bus P.P.U. FXXH-92, el cual transportaba 43 personas extrajeras que ingresaron por un paso no habilitado al país.
Estás personas ilegales (23 hombres, 15 mujeres y 5 menores de edad), se trasladan desde la ciudad de Iquique con destino a distintas ciudades de la zona central del país. En cuanto a su nacionalidad, corresponden a ocho de Venezuela, cuatro de Ecuador y 31 de Bolivia.
Se fiscalizó la totalidad de documentación estando toda al día, y se tomó contacto con el Ministerio de Transportes Atacama, quien señalo que por sistema cumplía todas las obligaciones legales.
Se preocedio a informar al 1er. Juzgado de Policía Local de Copiapó, a la empresa propietaria del bus, para determinar su responsabilidad al facilitar el vehículo para traslado de inmigrantes.
Departamento de Migraciones y Policía Internacional de la PDI Copiapó, señaló vía telefónica informar por Oficio la identificación de cada extranjero. Asimismo, se informa al Fiscal de turno quien señaló que se informará a DEMIG de la Policía de Investigaciones ya que no era competencia del Ministerio Público.
Finalmente, se informó por Oficio al Departamento de Migraciones y Policía Internacional de Copiapó.
