Can “Frodo” del O.S.7. detectó 6 mil dosis de cocaína en Ruta 5 Norte

*3 ciudadanos bolivianos fueron detenidos y la droga, que era transportada en bus, correspondiente a 3 kilos de cocaína, incautada.

Efectivos de la sección O.S.7 de Carabineros de Atacama detectaron, gracias al trabajo especializado del can “Frodo”,  a 3 personas de nacionalidad boliviana que transitaban por la Ruta 5 Norte con más de seis mil dosis de clorhidrato de cocaína, razón por la que fueron detenidas por Tráfico Ilícito de Drogas.

El hecho ocurrió durante la tarde de este 2 junio, cuando personal de O.S.7 se encontraba realizando una fiscalización preventiva a un bus que transitaba por el kilómetro 752 de la Ruta 5 Norte y con dirección al sur.

Fue en ese momento en el que “Frodo”, perro especializado en la detección de drogas, descubrió que estos sujetos se trasladaban con 3 kilos y 170 gramos de clorhidrato de cocaína, avaluados en más de 60 millones de pesos.

Según informó adicionalmente el Teniente Michael Avendaño, Jefe (s) de la sección OS7 de Carabineros, los detenidos ingresaron de manera irregular al país.

Estas 3 personas se trasladaban hacia la Región Metropolitana, lugar donde se comercializarían estas sustancias Ilícitas establecidas en la Ley de drogas N° 20.000.

Los detenidos fueron identificados como G.R.V, de 40 años, M.J.R de 26 años, y N.T.M de 21 años, quienes pasaron a control de detención en el Juzgado de Garantía de Copiapó.
